NYFW Spring 2012 Highlights

Tory Burch

This has to be my favorite Tory Burch collection. I adore the bright colors

and flattering silhouettes. I want to wear all the looks I posted below,

especially the aqua maxi dress, so pretty!

This collection is definitely smart, sophisticated, eclectic & beautiful.

Lela Rose

The soft color palette of this collection is really pretty and easy to wear.

I adore the faded floral prints! they almost look like a painting to me,

very unique indeed. The silhouettes again, very flattering & sophisticated.

Rebecca Taylor

Rebecca Taylor always designs beautiful, cool & sophisticated collections

every Season. I love the urban feel yet glamorous pieces of this collection.

I'd wear the blue maxi dress plus the little jacket in a heartbeat!

Miroslava Duma wearing a neon outfit and looking sophisticated & fabulous.

I love the way she combined different textures. She's definitely a trend setter!

Vintage Flair: I love to mix vintage and modern pieces! I also love to add a

pop of color to every outfit. The outfit above has a lovely vintage feel that

you can easily incorporate to your everyday look.

The secret: Pick vintage or vintage inspired pieces that give you

the unique touch that you're looking for.

For example, vintage silhouettes combined with modern accessories or vice versa.

Vintage Flair: Me encanta la mezcla del vintage con lo moderno. También me encanta agregar un toque

de color a cada outfit. El outfit que pueden ver arriba tiene un lindo toque vintage

que puedes incorporar en tu look diario. El secreto: Escoger prendas vintage o inspiradas

en lo vintage que te den ese toque que estas buscando. Por ejemplo, siluetas vintage

para tu ropa combinadas con accesorios modernos o viceversa. Puedes encontrar

Ethnic Accents: I also love the ethnic-chic style! This outfit is perfect for any event.

The dress has a unique print that gives you the chance to play with different colors.

The secret: Pick the color(s) that you like from the print you see on the dress and find accessories

that go with those colors. In this case, I picked an earthy/nude color palette for the accessories

because the print of the dress is bold enough to keep adding more bright colors to the outfit.

I like the way it looks with the nude pumps.

Ethnic accents: También me encanta el estilo étnico-chic! Este outfit es perfecto para cualquier evento.

Este vestido tiene un print único que te da la opción de jugar con diferentes colores.

El Secreto: Elige el color o colores que mas te gusten del estampado de tu vestido y encuentra

accesorios que combinen con esos colores. En este caso escogí accesorios de colores nude y tierra ya que

el estampado del vestido ya tiene suficientes colores como para seguir agregando mas colores fuertes.

Me encanta como se ve con las plataformas en color nude.

Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival

Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival is one of the most colorful and fun events in California.

Held annually in San Francisco's Golden Gate park, this festival is also full of Fashion and inspiration.

I especially love the Boho-chic look inspired by the 60-70's that you can see on the pictures above.

Este festival de arte y música llamado Outside Lands, es uno de los eventos mas coloridos

y alegres de California. Se lleva a cabo anualmente

en el parque Golden Gate de San Francisco y esta siempre lleno de mucha

moda e inspiración. Adoro especialmente los looks Boho-chic

de este festival, todos inspirados en los 60-70's. Aquí algunos looks favoritos, espero que les gusten.
