Girls + Boys

Zara's both Spring and Summer collections are simply adorable! I visited the store last week to see the actual pieces. I checked out everything from the designs to the construction and I think the quality is pretty good. I love everything they're having for this Season. Zara has a pretty good fit in general. I love the shoe collection as well, their clogs are my favorites! What do you think about the styling of this photo shoot? I personally love it! I think it has a mix of boho with a vintage flair, exactly how I like it. I think the guys' collection is very cool as well, don't you think? I love when guys accessorize their outfits, even with a simple scarf or hat, those things add personality to the whole look. Here are some of my favorite pieces.

La colección de Primavera-Verano es simplemente linda! Fui a la tienda la semana pasada para ver la ropa mas de cerca. Miré todo desde el diseño hasta la calidad de las telas, pienso que la ropa es de muy buena calidad. Me gustó mucho todo lo que tienen para esta temporada. Zara tiene bastante buen acabado y la forma es muy favorecedora también. Me encantó la coleccion de Zapatos! Que les pareció el styling de estas fotos? A mi encantó ya que tiene un aire boho y vintage, tal como me gusta. También la colección para chicos me pareció muy buena. Que les parece? Me encanta cuando los chicos le ponen accesorios a sus outfits, aunque sea una simple bufanda o sombrero, no se, le da personalidad a todo el look. Aquí algunas de mis piezas favoritas.

Etro Men's Fall 2010

I've always loved Etro's bold prints and bright colors for women, and the other day checking out some collections for men, I found Etro's collection for Fall 2010 and I loved it! I think there are interesting knits and great colors. I also love the scarfs and jackets. I know there are some guys following my blog so this post is for them and for the girls as well, why not? I'd love to see my honey wearing some of these looks :) I especially love the owl t-shirt with the scarf inside it (see look 4) and the jackets on #5. These are some of my favorite looks!

Siempre me ha gustado los estampados fuertes y los colores alegres de Etro en las colecciones de mujeres, El otro día estuve mirando algunas colecciones para hombres, encontré la colección de Fall 2010 y me encanto! Pienso que tienen tejidos interesantes así como colores bellos. También me gustan las bufandas y los abrigos. Se que hay algunos chicos que siguen mi blog así que este post es para ellos y también para las chicas, porque no? A mi me gustaría ver a mi chico en uno de esos looks :) Me encantan especialmente el polo con el estampado de búho y con la bufanda adentro (look 4) y los abrigos en el look #5. Y-3 Fall 09

I really like the coolness of this Fall 09 collection by Y-3. They're all easy pieces to mix and match. They're also modern and have an urban-feel because of the shapes and colors. I love the innovation on the oversized pockets (see guys's outfits). They also show pieces for girls and children, how refreshing that is! Here's my favorite outfit:

Trend Report - Fall 2009 Men, Part 1

Guys this post is for you and the for girls as well, I mean what girl doesn't love to see her honey wearing something cool and fashionable... I saw several collections for men and picked my favorites. I wanted to show you the trends in different posts so this is the first part and it's about a fashion piece that is an statement in all the runway shows, "The Jacket".

The jacket, which is a classic piece, has evolved once again for this season and you'll see new shapes, styles and cuts. I also saw lots of dark colors, but the interesting thing with those pieces is the innovation in shapes, necklines, closures and textures, which I found super cool. I hope you like the looks I picked for this post.

Chicos este post es para ustedes y también para las chicas, porque no? A que chica no le gusta ver a su chico vestido con ropa cool y de moda...He visto varias colecciones para chicos y ya escogí mis favoritas, pero quería dividirlas en diferentes posts. Esta es la primera parte y se trata de una pieza clásica que nuevamente esta de moda, se trata del abrigo o casaca, pero innovando en formas, estilos y cortes. También ví muchos colores oscuros en las pasarelas, pero lo interesante en esas piezas es la innovación en las texturas y formas lo cual me pareció super cool. Espero que les gusten los looks que escogí.

Yigal Azrouel Spring 2010 NY Fashion Week

Another fabulous collection that caught my eye at NY Fashion Week, was Yigal Azrouel's. I think his collection has a lot of innovative and fresh details. The whole collection is very edgy, cool and sophisticated at the same time. The great color blocking and unexpected cut outs were the details that made his collection unique. I also felt in love with a printed dress that he showed on this collection; I love that print so much that I wish I could be there at least to see it in person..he paired that little dress with a pair of black booties which I adore as well! Another thing that I like about the collection was the menswear part, I think there are some pretty cool pieces there that guys would like to wear. I loved how Yigal Azrouel reached an impeccable cohesiveness presenting both womenswear and menswear on the same collection.

Hablemos ahora un poco de la colección del diseñador Yigal Azrouel. Pienso que su colección tiene muchos detalles innovadores y frescos. Toda su colección es muy moderna, juvenil y sofisticada. Los colores y telas sobrepuestas creando una suerte de estampado y los cortes en areas claves hicieron que esta colección fuera única y original. Quedé enamorada de un mini vestido estampado tipo túnica que combinado con los botines negros me parecieron algo super coqueto y femenino, tanto así que hubiera deseado estar ahí mismo aunque sea sólo para verlo en persona! Otra cosa que me gustó mucho de esta colección fue la ropa de hombre, pienso que hubieron algunas piezas que a los chicos le gustaría. La manera como Yigal Azrouel unió con armonía una colección que incluía ropa para hombre y mujer, fue realmente de quitarse el sombrero.

Hugh Dancy came along to inspire us!

How to forget Hugh Dancy in "Confessions of a Shopaholic" ? He was absolutely adorable, and of course he played the role of the perfect boss: He never gets mad at you if you make a mistake, he's always smiling and joking around, he's smart and supportive, and just to add a little more to all that, he's gorgeous!!

This talented actor has been the face of Burberry since 2004 and has been featured in three Burberry campaigns, alongside Kate Moss.

Como olvidar a Hugh Dancy en la película "Confessions of a Shopaholic" ?? Adorable! Y por supuesto en la película él interpretaba el papel del jefe perfecto: Nunca se enojaba si cometías un error, siempre estaba sonriendo y bromeando, era inteligente, comprensivo y para completar era guapisimo!!

Este talentoso actor ha modelado para la marca Burberry desde el 2004 y ha sido parte de tres campañas de la misma marca al lado de Kate Moss.

I love the August editorial of Glamour Magazine where Hugh has a main role. Once again I love the color story! The green background also brings a fresh touch to this editorial. This beautiful work belongs to photographer Arthur Elgort.

This Editorial is just a sneak peek of what is coming for fall, new shapes, rich color story, and new ways to make the stuff you already own suddenly interesting and exciting to wear again.
