Look of the day: Color Blocking

One of the fashion trends I like the most is Color Blocking. I like to mix and match unusual colors and prints in a fun but sophisticated way. The look above has two of my favorite colors: bright pink and turquoise. For this look I didn't go for the traditional color blocking with clothing instead I decided to do it with clothes and accessories (shoes + top). You can also recreate the color blocking trend using only accessories which is an easier way to add some fun to your everyday look. What do you think?

Una de las tendencias que mas me gustan es la del Color Blocking. Me encanta combinar colores inusuales y estampados de una manera sofisticada pero divertida. El look de arriba tiene dos de mis colores favoritos: Rosa fuerte y el turquesa. Para este look no escogí el color blocking tradicional con piezas de ropa si no que utilicé la blusa y los zapatos. También puedes recrear la tendencia del color blocking usando solamente accesorios, lo cual es mucho mas fácil y ademas podrás darle ese toque divertido a tu look diario. Que les pareció? Spring is going to be all about vibrant colors, wild prints, soft & flowy fabrics

and more. A color that is going to be super hot this Spring is pink! I have to

confess that pink is not my favorite color in general; however, I really like

these vibrant shades (see pictures above) because they're bold, fresh and sexy!

plus they look great on everyone.

Esta primavera va estar llena de colores llamativos, estampados fuertes, telas delicadas

Ethereal, smart, feminine are just few words to describe this adorable collection by Elizabeth & James. I love the color palette and airy dresses as well as the styling. One of my favorite looks is the very first one, I think it's just the perfect outfit that you can wear not only for work or a job interview, but even for going out with your girlfriends. You can just take out the blazer and maybe change the accessories & shoes a little bit and you're set for the night!
