How was your weekend? I had a nice one especially because of this awesome weather

in California! We're in winter but it's sunny and lovely all day, like Spring time!

I went picnic during the weekend, and did some vintage shopping.

Como estuvo tu fin de semana? El mío fue tranquilo y lindo especialmente por el hermoso

clima de California! Aquí estamos en "Invierno" pero es un invierno bastante especial

porque hay sol y parece que estuviéramos en Primavera. Fui de picnik durante

el fin de semana y tambien a hacer unas compritas Vintage, muy lindas y unicas!

Valentino Haute Couture S/S 2011

I've been always a fan of Valentino's designs. He really knows how to bring glamour, attention to detail and beautiful pieces to the runway. When this legendary fashion designer retired in 2008, I thought his fashion label wouldn't be the same without him (and it will never be the same, since there's only one Valentino). However, after seeing the recent collections, especially this one, I've noticed that the new designers have found a way to keep Valentino's aesthetic, but with an edgy and fresh touch, perfect for today's woman. I really love this collection not only for the delicate fabrics and colors, but also for the emphasis on workmanship. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli are the designers behind Valentino's label and honestly, I think they're doing a great job not only bringing their point of view and fresh ideas to the label, but also keeping Valentino's philosophy: Elegance, beauty and femininity. So very Valentino!

Me declaro fan de los diseños de Valentino desde siempre. Valentino si que ha sabido llevar ese toque de glamour, detalle y belleza a la pasarela. Cuando se retiró en el 2008, pensé que la marca Valentino no seria la misma sin el (Y no será jamás la misma, ya que Valentino es único). Sin embargo, después de ver las colecciones recientes, especialmente esta, he notado que los nuevos diseñadores han encontrado la manera de mantener el estilo y la estética de Valentino, pero agregando un toque mas moderno y fresco, perfecto para la mujer de hoy. Esta colección me encanta no solo por las telas delicadas y colores suaves, si no por el énfasis en los detalles. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli son los diseñadores detrás de la marca Valentino, los cuales, en mi opinión, están haciendo un excelente trabajo trayendo nuevas propuestas a la marca, pero a la vez manteniendo la elegancia, femineidad y belleza que son características muy propias del gran Valentino!
