Old San Juan: Puerto Rico's Bohemian paradise

An entire weekend is not enough time to explore this charming and soulful city in Puerto Rico named Old San Juan. From the narrow streets full of adoquines (cobble stones) to the beautiful wooden balconies, the Old San Juan is a must see. There's a famous song inspired by this amazing city, the name of the song is: En mi Viejo San Juan and the author's name is Noel Estrada.
I was lucky enough to travel to Puerto Rico during the Holidays and I couldn't be happier! I know Puerto Rico quite well since I lived there for about two years. I spent so many weekends looking at the sunset at El Paseo de la Princesa and shopping at the little boutiques in the area and also buying handmade pottery from the artisans. I've also sold some of my creations there during Noches de Galeria (Art Gallery nights at Old San Juan). I have so many fond memories of Puerto Rico than a single post is not enough to describe them. However, I wanted to share with you this small yet beautiful part of Puerto Rico through pictures. If you're a boho girl/boy at heart, you'll love the Old San Juan for sure. If you're planning to go to Puerto Rico, please visit the old San Juan especially during the weekends since there's always music, artisans, and nice things going on. And last but not least, don't forget to try a Piragua (Puerto Rican shaved ice dessert covered with syrup) from your local Piragüero at the Old San Juan :-)

I'm seriously in love with the beautiful top I was wearing that day! I wear it all the time because it's so pretty and versatile. I can totally wear this lovely sheer top during Summer and even Fall with a long sleeved top inside or a cute cardigan/jacket over. I've received many compliments in Puerto Rico and of course such a detailed and pretty slip has to be from Free People. It's not a secret that I love the store so I bought some presents from Free People during Holidays as well. By the way, Free People has such a cute selection of tunics especially long tunics that I'm loving right now. Thanks for the sweet comments on the previous post and hope you enjoy the pictures!

Besos.
